On September 10, 2014 at approximately 4:30 pm Eastern Standard Time, CollaborateMD customers attempting to log into the application may have experienced connection problems.   The problem was traced back to an internal piece of software that abnormally malfunctioned.  Once restarted the service the CMD environment returned to its normal operational status.  Customers already logged in were not effected, and there was no impact to any functions or services.  All claims, appointment reminders, and other activities were processed normally during the connection issue.  

We will be implementing the necessary changes indicated by our investigation to mitigate this type of issue in the future.  We do not anticipate any further issues and we will continue to proactively monitor the environment.
